Welcome to the Tamalpais Fire Crew’s Unofficial Website!  This site is not approved by the Marin County Fire Department (MCFD).  It is built by and for the Crew  to explain what we do and why we do it!

The TFC is a firefighting handcrew stationed in Marin County California.  Its purpose is the cut, pile, and burn vegetation reducing the hazards surrounding the communities through a series of fuelbreaks.  The Crew also responds to wildland fires throughout the county.
